Xfinity App not working on Firestick I have a couple of TVs with Amazon Firesticks for streaming. As of October 2025 (probably after software updates), the Xfinity Stream app does not work anymore. For live channels, the app keeps buffering and does not show any content.

Understanding the Context

For recordings, it does not play any of them. I followed these instructions and it does not work on the firestick remote using the firestick/Xfinity stream app. Navigating through 1000 channels is difficult so making a channel favorites list is crucial. Xfinity Stream wont open on my Firestick I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app on Firestick as well as making sure my Firestick was up to date.
