DISM failing on Win10 machine I'm running a machine with Win10 Pro 22H2 (19045.5965) which failed to install the just released Win10 update. After running down several rabbit holes I eventually also found that DISM was failing to complete, giving a 14098 error & "component store has been corrupted". Win10 - Freezing at 95% trying to install KB5040427 update.

Hi all - title says it all. I've got an older Acer laptop that is trying to install an update (I THINK it's the KB5040427 one). ANY time I try and install it, the machine freezes at 96% or 98% on the blue Windows update screen after reboot....no spinning dots, just completely frozen. Good evening, I would like to test In place upgrade from Win10 22H2 to Win11 24H2 I used the following command: setup.exe /auto upgrade /quiet /DynamicUpdate disable /showoobe None /Telemetry Disable /EULA Accept /compat /NoReboot This command for w11 24H Can I use unused Win7 Pro OEM key for new Win10 ?
